Folger editions are ideal for students for two reasons: each scene begins with a brief headnote that says what events transpire in the scene, and Folgers have facing-page notes, which are far better than footnotes or end notes in terms of not disrupting the flow of reading. Unfortunately, this edition combining three plays abandons the facing-page notes for end notes (by far the most disruptive note format), and it doesn't include the helpful summaries at the beginning of each scene. Students would be FAR happier to read 3 individual Folgers with their reader-friendly design than with this edition.
