In order to find out why she did it, he decides to spy on her and her lover. Pauline at the Beach: Fifteen year old Pauline and her older cousin, model-shaped Marion, go to the emptying Atlantic coast for an autumn holiday. Marion ignores the approaches of a surfer and falls for Henri, a hedonist who is only interested in a sexual adventure and drops her soon. Pauline's little romance with a young man (Sylvain) is also spoiled by Henri. Summer: Delphine's traveling companion cancels two weeks before her holiday, so Delphine, a Parisian secretary, is at loose ends. She doesn't want to travel by herself, but has no boyfriend and seems unable to meet new people. The films are (as always with Rohmer) intelligent and worth seeing. I only withhold a star because the producers of this very generous box-set provided sub-titles for the films, but no sub-titles for the hours of interviews and additional features. That really is very disappointing for those of us who (alas) don't speak French.
