One of the greatest disappointments for me is not being able to see the old 1950's shorts on dvd.There are some that have come with classic musicals but not many.Where are the great cinemascope shorts that were made? There were several hundreds.True many are now dated but they can give you the cinema experience of yesterday.Disney and Warner's have released some but more studios need to bring them out on dvd.They are a time capsule of films from a bygone era that need to be seen by a new generation. Warner's are about to release some of their old 1950's 3D films on dvd and in 3D.It is great to be able to see some of the 3D 3 stooges films again. They have been in 3D and on dvd for many years from several suppliers.That was a long time ago, so now is the time to re-release them again with the growing popularity of 3D. There are many other old shorts that were filmed in 3D. ( of which I have several) and it would great to see those again on DVD in 3D. I am sure that the 3D quality would be better than it was a few years ago when many came out on dvd in 3D.Let's hope that these classic 3 stooges shorts will have better 3D quality than the last release.
