Note you need all-terrain video for this one. The collection is for Ozu fans, and maybe for students of prewar Japan. Video buffs will not like the full-screen format and downmarket transfer. But it is viewable on my old tv. Having viewed 4 of the 5 films, I recommend without reservation for anyone interested in Ozu of film history. And, yes, the films endure as effective comedy and melodrama, and his choice of actors is impressive from the beginning of his career.
